How To Make a Nori Noodle Soup – Best Japanese Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package dried soba noodles
  • 1 C. prepared dashi stock
  • 1/4 C. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1/4 tsp white sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 C. chopped green onions
  • 1 sheet nori (dried seaweed), cut into thin strips (optional)

Directions

  • Cook the noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain it and cool it down with some water.
  • Place a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in it the dashi, soy sauce, mirin, and white sugar. Cook it until it starts boiling.
  • Turn off the heat and allow the mix to lose heat for 27 min. Divide the sesame seeds with noodles on serving bowls and pour the stock
  • soup over it.
  • Garnish your soup bowls with the nori and green onions.
  • Enjoy
